SSSS with marginalized people
SSSS visit to Aravalli district
SSSS Director
and staff visited Khiloda, Pahadiya and Nanakantharia parishes on 10th
May 2024. The Community Educators of Bhiloda came to Khiloda and the Community
Educators of Meghraj came to Nana kantharia for the meeting. SSSS staff checked
all the documents of the community educators and helped them for better
recording. Fr. Xavier James distributed the certificates to the women who
completed tailoring training at Pahadiya and Nana kantharia. He appealed to the
women to take initiative and start using the skills they learnt and earn for
their families.
SSSS
visit to Migrants & Skill Development Centre.
SSSS Director
together with the staff visited sector 6 on 11th May 2024. The
Director distributed health card and e shram cards to the migrant daily wagers
for their benefit. They also visited Skill Development Centre at Chhatral. SSSS
staff has coordinated with COSMOS skill development centre and began a Tally
Premium course for 15 migrant workers’ children. SSSS staff went door to
door to help these young people in making them aware of this course and the
future of it. SSSS has paid their fees for the course. As soon as they complete
their training, a government certificate would be given to them and job placement
would be given. Thus SSSS staff ensure standard living in the life of migrants.
