 SSSS training programme for Community Educators

On 6^th and 7^th June 2023, Community Educators of SSSS had gathered together at Jeevan Vikas Kendra, Pethapur for various trainings. At the very outset Fr. Xavier James, Director of SSSS briefed the SSSS staff and community educators on the vision and mission of SSSS and the few observations on documentation, which would enhance the hard work done by SSSS at the grass root level. Then SSSS staff continued the training on organic kitchen garden, health awareness programme, reaching out to persons with disabilities, obtaining government schemes for various sections of the society and nurturing the women’s cooperatives in different parts of the Archdiocese. SSSS staff checked all the documents of the Community Educators for better record keeping and performance.

On 28^th May 2023, Gandhinagar experienced heavy wind and rain thus many migrant construction workers and daily wagers who were living in small tents and huts became roofless. Learning the situation SSSS reached out to migrant families with tarpaulin, which could protect them from rain. Glory to God!
