 Solemn Feast of Christ the King feast at CRPF Church

Solemn Feast of Christ the King of the Universe was celebrated at CRPF Church, Gandhinagar on 20^th November 2022. BSF DIG Suman Tirkey sir took initiative in the celebration. It began with Eucharistic Procession in the Church premises and as we entered the Church, we had adoration. During the adoration people made beautiful spontaneous prayers including the DIG sir. After the benediction the holy Eucharist was well participated by the officers and force personnel   from BSF and CRPF. After the Eucharist, every family was given a memento of the preamble of the Constitution of India and after sharing snacks everyone left for their work. It was worth noting although BSF was holding a written examination and our DIG sir was the Chief Examination Officer, he did not avoid the Sunday Liturgy. He has been inspiring everyone through his simple and humble life style and witnessing through his expression of Faith. Glory to God our King!

Children's day celebration activities in Gandhinagar.

As a part of Children’s day celebration, which is two weeks long programme, SSSS staff had organized Rangoli competition for girls and cricket match for the boys at government school and home in Sectors 19 and 20 in Gandhinagar. On 19^th November 2022, the winners were given away prizes and trophy by the Director. The Principal and the Superintendent noted that these activities brought much smile on the children. They whole-heartedly thanked SSSS for their continued support.

SSSS Distribution of Government Cards

 SSSS Distribution of Government Cards

SSSS Staff through their hard work had registered many people for e shram card and National Health card. These identity cards will enable the people to avail government benefits. On 18^th November 2022, the staff together with the Director went to Vavol in Gandhinagar and distributed the cards to the beneficiaries which brought much joy to the poor who are mainly migrants. They also stated that they tried many times but could not get these cards but SSSS staff had made it a reality for them. Fr. Xavier James appreciated the staff and assured their continued assistance for Ayushman card.
