Malayalam Retreat for
parishioners
Siddhpur parish had organized a Malayalam Lenten retreat at Palanpur for the Malayalam speaking Catholics from Siddhpur, Palanpur, Mehsana, Deesa and Tharadh. Fr. Dyson Yesu had come all the way from Trivandrum Archdiocese to preach the retreat in which he focused on our faith. It began with the Stations of the Cross and proceeded with the Talk. After a short break, the Adoration was conducted by Fr. Dyson and Frs. Xavier James and Kirubasana Das administered the Sacrament of Reconciliation. The Holy Eucharist was then celebrated and all participated in the fellowship meal before departing to their destination. The people were very happy to listen to the Word of God in their native language. Frs. Nelson and Das were helpful in the organization. The lay faithful took much interest in the whole process.
