 Mission Sunday celebration at Palanpur Mission

World Mission Sunday was celebrated at Palanpur Mission on 20^th October 2024. Two physical meetings of the parish and parish council were held to plan out the event and proceedings of the Mission Sunday celebration. After the evening Mass, 12 stalls were ready for the night. The boarding children arranged sound, lights and stalls. The parishioners prepared and brought various edible items to their stalls and sold them. There were games arranged. Everyone experienced joy and togetherness through this gathering. The event brought much we-feeling, cooperation, fun etc… The boarding children and the parishioners were looking forward to this day and made full use of the time and enjoyed the items which were sold. By the grace of God and generosity of the people handsome amount was collected and sent to the Archdiocese to be sent to Universal Church. The priests reminded the people that Communio Inida contribution in December and Holy Childhood in February to be celebrated with this gusto. This was made loud and clear that 'The Church exists to evangelize' (from Evangeli Nuntiandi-14).
