SSSS Sangath Training & PWD certificates in Mehsana

SSSS training on Account & Documentation for cooperative members

Women’s cooperative members of Mehsana, Mandali, Siddhpur and Radhanpur had gathered in Mehsana for a training on accounts and documentation for two days in October 2020. SSSS staff Vaibhav and Jaifin animated the training so that women would know how to write and maintain all the documents practically for better functioning of the cooperative societies. SSSS staff also witnessed the ongoing beautician-training programme in Mehsana centre. We thank Sr. Nirmala for making all the arrangements for training.

SSSS reaches out to Persons with disabilities

SSSS staff helped persons with disabilities to obtain disability certificates in Gandhinagar and Mehsana districts. The staff obtains the necessary documents and uploads them with online application and thereafter takes the persons to the civil hospitals to be examined by the Civil Surgeon who gives disability certificates, which paves way to obtain many government entitlements. Kudos to Nitin & SSSS team.

Archdiocese reaches out to the needy Catholics

Archdiocese reaches out to the needy Catholics

As Archbishop Thomas Macwan felt compassion on the poor needy Catholics in the Archdiocese, with the help of PMS he reached out to these Catholics. SSSS staff helped the Archbishop in reaching out to the poor and needy Catholics in the month of October 2020. The preliminary survey was done by respective Parish Priests with the help of parish council members. As the numbers were finalized, the Archdiocese bought food grains and provisions for the poor Catholic families to sustain themselves for a month. Archbishop & SSSS staff went to different missions and villages of the Archdiocese to distribute food provisions which would relieve their hunger for a month. Although Archdiocese has 6 civil districts we had chosen 3 districts to render this help namely Aravalli, Gandhinagar and Sabarkantha where mostly tribal Catholics live. Altogether 400 families were helped in Himmatnagar, Nanakantharia, Meghraj, Khiloda, Pahadiya, Bhiloda and Vijaynagar parishes. Although the distance is vast, still our beloved Archbishop came in person in search of his flock and helped them with food materials. This act touched the people and they were very grateful.
