 World Marriage Day Celebration at CRPF Church, Gandhinagar

On 25^th February 2024, World Marriage Day was celebrated at CRPF Church in Gandhinagar. Family plays a vital role in the life of the Church and the Sacrament of Marriage is so special that the spouses administer to each other. Keeping the memory of Pope St. John Paul II who consecrated World Marriage day in 1993 always encouraged the married couple. Our Holy Father, Pope Francis acknowledges that marriage is a call to joy of love and joy of the Church. CRPF Church celebrated this day with renewal of marital vows and blessing and exchanging of rings to make the couple feel special. At the end of the Eucharist, all the couple cut cakes together and shared with each other. This added greater joy to the parishioners.

CRPF Church Feast

 Our Lady of Lourdes Feast at CRPF, Gandhinagar

On 11^th February 2024, CRPF Church in Gandhinagar celebrated its Church feast of Our Lady of Lourdes with full participation of the faithful. The Holy Rosary was recited in various vernaculars. The Holy Eucharist was celebrated by Fr. Isidore Almeida and concelebrated by Fr. Xavier James. Fr. Almeida helped the people with his inspiring homily to lean on our Blessed Mother Mary. After the Holy Eucharist the World day of the sick was celebrated and special prayers were offered and at the end anointing with oil and laying on of hands and prayer over the people took place. Everyone shared the fellowship meal which was collectively prepared by the faithful in the Church campus. The faithful came together to plan, decorate the grotto and prepare delicious food and share it with all. The people at CRPF take initiative and put in a lot of effort to make the feast day a solemn event.  Fr. Almeida, Srs. Espy and Anita were overjoyed to be a part of the celebration.
