Wheel chairs to Churches & Schools by SSSS.
Wheel Chairs to Churches & Schools, certificates for tailoring course
On 13th March 2021, Fr. Xavier James along
with SSSS staff went to Mehsana to present a wheel chair to St. Michael’s
Church for the benefit of the elderly and persons with disability. Fr. Xavier
James also gave away certificates to women who completed tailoring course for 2
months. Kudos to Sr. Nirmala & Community for taking care of the course.
On 15th March 2021, Fr. Xavier James and
SSSS staff went to Gandhinagar to present wheel chairs to Cathedral Catholic
Church, St. Xavier’s School and Mount Carmel School for the benefit of
children, teachers, elderly, parishioners and persons with disabilities. We are
grateful to fathers, sisters for their support.

Archdiocesan Women's day celebration 2021 Report
Archdiocesan Women’s day
Archdiocese of Gandhinagar had organized women’s day
programme on 7th March 2021 at Jeevan Vikas Kendra Pastoral centre,
Pethapur, Gandhinagar. The theme chosen was ‘choose to challenge’. Fathers,
Sisters and women gathered together with mask from all over the Archdiocese 203
in count. His Grace Archbishop Thomas Macwan presided over the Holy Eucharist
and the women were very participative with their respective roles. After the
Holy Eucharist, a short programme was held in which Archbishop felicitated 13
women from different parishes who help in the socio-pastoral work of the
parish. Ms. Nayana Damor, staff nurse of Gandhinagar civil hospital gave practical
instructions on health during Covid situation. A short video was shown to
recollect the past year. The women participated in games and garba and after a
sumptuous meal all left for their homes with sweet memories of Archdiocesan
Women’s day. Kudos to Sr. Nila and SSSS staff for their professional work.
