Training programme of Missio
Training Programme at Mehsana & Mandali
On 7th and 9th July 2022, SSSS
Director along with SSSS staff visited Mandali and Mehsana parishes where
Sangath Vidhya programme is in progress with women empowerment through
tailoring & beautician training programmes. SSSS also conducted leadership
and government schemes training for the women. At Mandali, on completing their
trainings 40 women and young girls received their certificates, which would help
them to apply for government schemes. We are grateful to Missio for supporting
us in reaching out to women.
SSSS Seeds distribution to project villages
Seeds distribution to project villages
SSSS Director along with the staff reached out to
different villages of Danta, Bhiloda, Meghraj blocks in July 2022 in order to
distribute maize seeds and small grains during the monsoon. This will help the
family to survive for a year and they are instructed to do traditional farming
and next year to share with their neighbours so that they could bring about
change in the way of farming over the years. We are grateful to Manos Unidas
and Misereor for providing such help to our needy of the Archdiocese.

Food grains for the poor
SSSS, Archdiocese of Gandhinagar reached out to the
needy Catholic and migrant families with food grains in July 2022. The Parish
Priests with the help of lay faithful surveyed the needy and informed SSSS and
SSSS staff reached out to 450 families of various parishes in the Archdiocese
of Gandhinagar such as Himmatnagar, Modasa, Nanakanthariya, Kadwath, Pahadiya
and Khiloda. SSSS and Archdiocese of Gandhinagar is grateful to the Archdiocese
of Toronto for providing food grains to ease poverty and hunger.
