 SSSS reaches out to the homeless & hungry

On 24^th August 2020, SSSS reached out with tarpaulin for shelter to 3 families and food grains to 9 families at Mansa. Although it was raining heavily, still the staff were glad to reach out to the needy. May God be praised for helping SSSS to reach out to the needy during this pandemic situation. On 29^th August 2020, SSSS reached out with tarpaulin for shelter to 6 families and food grains to 17 families at Palaj, Borij, Pethapur in Gandhinagar. (Xavier James)

CHANGE – Training programme

SSSS conducted documentation training to the new animators of CHANGE project on 28^th August 2020. There were 14 animators and SSSS staff Sharmilaben and Anilbhai were orienting them to these subject matters. Frs. Xavier, Salvador, Isidor, Julian, Kingslin, Deepak came to encourage these animators to work hard. (Xavier James)

On 19^th August 2020, SSSS, Archdiocese of Gandhinagar reached out to the homeless and hungry of Pethapur & Fatehpura villages in Gandhinagar. SSSS distributes seeds & manure to tribal farmers

SSSS distributes seeds & manure to tribal farmers

On 11^th August 2020, SSSS, Archdiocese of Gandhinagar reached out to tribal farmers near Ambaji. SSSS staff & the Director went to Pancha, Piplavwalivav, Dabawalivav, Shiyawada in Danta Block of Banaskantha district and distributed vegetable seeds and organic manure for the rural tribal farmers. As an integral part of food and nutrition programme for these tribal farmers, SSSS had gone so far away places and explained to them the benefits of making kitchen garden and enjoying the fruits of their homes and use of organic manure. The poor farmers were glad to receive the seeds and manure during this monsoon season. (Xavier James)

SSSS reaches out to the homeless

On 10^th August 2020, SSSS, Archdiocese of Gandhinagar reached out to the homeless people and children of Vavol and Rupal villages of Gandhinagar. SSSS distributed tarpaulin for shelter to 17 families of the slums. As the previous day received so much rain, the people felt that it was a timely assistance from SSSS.
