Sabarmati Samruddhi Seva Sangh, Archdiocese of Gandhinagar reached out with food grains to 10 families of persons with disabilities at Vavol, Vasan, Pethapur in Gandhinagar.

SSSS, Archdiocese of Gandhinagar reached out to 68 families of widows and needy in Mehsana & Radhanpur. May the Lord take care of the poorest of the poor.

SSSS, Archdiocese of Gandhinagar reached out to 15 needy families and 15 migrants walking to Rajasthan to their homes on NH 48 with essential things for their journey. Hats off to SSSS staff & Sanu Francis.

SSSS reaches out to Aravali District

Sabarmati Samruddhi Seva Sangh, Archdiocese of Gandhinagar on 20^th May 2020 reached out to Khiloda, Meghraj, Modasa parishes with food grain kits. The fathers with the help of sisters identified the widows and needy people and requested SSSS for assistance and SSSS staff reached out to these needy people with joy. We also went to Jamkheda, an interior village in Meghraj and distributed provision kits to widows and needy ones. SSSS is grateful to Frs. Antony Cardoza, John Peter, Siddharth for taking the lead to reach to the poorest of the poor.

SSSS reaches out to walking migrants

On seeing huge number of migrants walking in the heat in a pathetic condition to reach their homes, SSSS was moved with compassion and purchased essential things for the journey such as water, soft drinks, biscuits, snacks, hair oil, vicks, band aid, soap, foot wear and began distributing them among 89 migrants on 17^th May and 18 migrants on 20^th May 2020. They were heading towards Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh on foot. It is a sad situation to see the human suffering during this crisis of corona pandemic.

Sabarmati Samruddhi Seva Sangh, Archdiocese of Gandhinagar helped 151 needy families at Khiloda, Meghraj, Modasa in Aravali District. It also distributed essential things for the migrants who were walking to their homes to Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh on National High Way 48. All Glory to God.

SSSS, Archdiocese of Gandhinagar with Lijoy of GMCA drove on National Highway 48 from Gandhinagar to Ratanpur and distributed essential things for the migrants who were walking to their homes. SSSS also catered to the migrants who were going by bus to their homes. It also distributed food grains to the families of migrants and widows. May the Lord take care of the migrants who go home on foot. We are grateful to the PI of Pranthij for permitting us to serve in his territory.

SSSS reaches out to rural parishes of the Archdiocese

As Gandhinagar was fully shut down and restricted movements were allowed from 9^th to 17^th May 2020, due to Corona spread, SSSS reached out to other parishes of the Archdiocese. On 12^th May SSSS reached out to Pahadia and Modasa parishes with medical kit and also food grains which benefitted 101 families of widows, daily wagers and needy. On 13^th May Archdiocesan Social Service wing reached out to Unteshwari, Kadi, Kalol providing food grains for 65 families. On 15^th May SSSS reached out to Mehsana with food grains for 52 needy families in the surrounding. Thanks be to God for feeding the hungry. Thanks to many generous hearts who helped to reach out to Christ in the hungry.
