SSSS reaches out to Aravali and NH 48 walking migrants.

SSSS reaches out to Aravali District

Sabarmati Samruddhi Seva Sangh, Archdiocese of Gandhinagar on 20th May 2020 reached out to Khiloda, Meghraj, Modasa parishes with food grain kits. The fathers with the help of sisters identified the widows and needy people and requested SSSS for assistance and SSSS staff reached out to these needy people with joy. We also went to Jamkheda, an interior village in Meghraj and distributed provision kits to widows and needy ones. SSSS is grateful to Frs. Antony Cardoza, John Peter, Siddharth for taking the lead to reach to the poorest of the poor.

SSSS reaches out to walking migrants

On seeing huge number of migrants walking in the heat in a pathetic condition to reach their homes, SSSS was moved with compassion and purchased essential things for the journey such as water, soft drinks, biscuits, snacks, hair oil, vicks, band aid, soap, foot wear and began distributing them among 89 migrants on 17th May and 18 migrants on 20th May 2020. They were heading towards Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh on foot. It is a sad situation to see the human suffering during this crisis of corona pandemic.
