SSSS distributes seeds & manure to tribal farmers
On 11th August 2020, SSSS, Archdiocese of
Gandhinagar reached out to tribal farmers near Ambaji. SSSS staff & the
Director went to Pancha, Piplavwalivav, Dabawalivav, Shiyawada in Danta Block
of Banaskantha district and distributed vegetable seeds and organic manure for
the rural tribal farmers. As an integral part of food and nutrition programme
for these tribal farmers, SSSS had gone so far away places and explained to
them the benefits of making kitchen garden and enjoying the fruits of their
homes and use of organic manure. The poor farmers were glad to receive the
seeds and manure during this monsoon season. (Xavier James)
