SSSS reached out to families of covid victims at Unteshwari
SSSS reached out to 46 families of orphans and widows
who lost their loved ones during the 2nd wave of Covid at Unteshwari
on 29th July 2021. Sr. Nila surveyed the families and intimated to
SSSS office and SSSS staff reached out with food grains to those needy
families.
SSSS reached out to persons with disabilities in Poshina
It was for the first time that SSSS, Archdiocesan
Social Service centre reached out to new mission Poshina with food grains to 59
families of persons with disabilities on 27th July 2021. Frs. Thomas
Kolady, Yovan with the help of Mukesh and Ashok identified 59 families of
persons with disabilities and surveyed and intimated to SSSS office of the same
and SSSS staff went over and distributed food grains which brought much joy to
SSSS staff as these were most needy people. Kudos to Frs. Thomas Kolady &
Yovan!
God uses SSSS
Indeed God used SSSS to reach out to orphan families
where parents died of Corona with food grains in the month of July in
Gandhinagar. SSSS also reached out to Meghraj and Himmatnagar Catholic families
with Maize, black gram, pigeon pea seeds for sowing so that they would have
some relief during this pandemic. SSSS with the help of Caritas Germany & Caritas
India distributed Oxygen concentrator to help the needy people in Gandhinagar
city through Nynaben & Sandeepbhai. His Grace Archbishop blessed and
presented the concentrator to their Ambulance.
The couple have been helping numerous needy people in Gandhinagar Civil
hospital. All Glory to God!
SSSS reached out to old mission Bhiloda with food
grains to needy Catholic families on 21st July 2021. Thanks to Fr. Ronald
Saldhana for identifying and surveying the needy people so that Archdiocese of
Gandhinagar could reach out to the needy in an efficient manner. SSSS also
reached out to Himmatnagar Catholics with seeds of maize, black gram, pigeon pea
for them to sow and get abundant fruit for their families. Thanks to Frs. Swamy
& Augustine.
SSSS at Himmatnagar
After due survey in Himmatnagar parish SSSS the Archdiocesan
Social Service wing reached out to 36 families on 8th July 2021.
Thanks to Parish Fathers for doing a good job in identifying the needy Catholic
families.
SSSS reaches out to persons with disabilities at Unteshwari
SSSS reached out to Unteshwari mission on 7th
July 2021. Fr. Siddharth, the new Parish Priest surveyed the persons with
disabilities and helped their families with food grains and masks. SSSS team
was so glad to serve these less privileged people with greater joy.
SSSS reaches out to Deesa, Virampur, Palanpur
SSSS with the help of Frs. Salvador, Julian, Isidore
surveyed the poor needy persons at Palanpur, Virampur and Deesa in Banaskantha
district and reached out with food grains on 6th July 2021. It was a
great joy in reaching out to Catholics and needy persons in and around the
mission stations. Moreover we were glad to have our beloved Archbishop Thomas
Macwan at Virampur.
