SSSS Staff through the survey and regular visits identified women’s group at Vavol in Gandhinagar and the Director reached the spot to verify the need of those migrants women and after the need assessment SSSS, Archdiocese of Gandhinagar gave tailoring machine, beautician chair and essential materials for tailoring course and beautician course. The Director and SSSS staff were glad to see the joy of the women on receiving them on 18th May 2022. Regular follow up has been taken by SSSS staff for better outcome.

 Food grains for Migrant families and children

Covid has changed the lives of all especially the migrants who have been so much affected by such situation. Families and children lack essential food and nutrition. It was a timely help by CCBI Migrant Commission to reach out to such families and children with essential food materials. After making a proper survey of the families and children of migrants, Sabarmati Samruddhi Seva Sangh, Archdiocese of Gandhinagar distributed food grains and nutrition kits to Migrant families and children with in Gandhinagar. Archdioceses of Gandhinagar is grateful to Caritas Italiana, CCBI Migrant Commission and Fr. Jaison Vaddasery for helping the Archdiocese to reach out to Such needy persons and their families in the Archdiocese of Gandhinagar.

 Archdiocesan Motivational Seminar for Youth

58 Youth had gathered at Jeevan Vikas Kendra, Pethapur on 15th May 2022 for Archdiocesan Motivational Seminar. His Grace Archbishop Thomas Macwan presided over the Holy Eucharist and after lighting the lamp gave the inaugural address by encouraging the youth. Thereafter Dr. Deba Ranjan Hota and Mr. Chandravadan Macwan through their life sharing and with more examples motivated the youth. The session was interactive and some youth sought clarifications for their career. Such seminars will be regularly conducted for the youth of the Archdiocese. All Glory to God!
