SSSS, Archdiocese of Gandhinagar distributed food grains to the needy Catholics and migrants of the archdiocese in the month of June 2022. Parish Priests and his parish counsellors surveyed the needy and informed SSSS and SSSS staff reached out to 500 families of different parishes such as Unteshwari, Kalol, Mehsana, Siddhpur, Palanpur, Deesa and Meghraj. We are grateful to Archdiocese of Toronto and CCBI Migrant Commission for providing this help.

 Caritas visit for Pravasi Bandhu & Sanjivini Projects

From 20^th to 22^nd June 2022, Caritas officials visited Sabarmati Samruddhi Seva Sangh, Gandhinagar for Migrant welfare programme and traditional farming programme which are doing good work to the underprivileged and marginalized. After checking the relevant documents they visited the field to interact with migrant workers in Gandhinagar. 

SSSS visit to Danta, Ambaji

SSSS Director and staff, Fr. Julian and Community Educators visited Maal, Devaliyavali vav, Rapat, Dabavalivav of Danta block on 24^th June 2022. They met the poor and marginalized farmers and after interacting with them distributed seeds as the monsoon approaches for organic farming. We are grateful to Misereor.

On 14^th June 2022, SSSS Director and staff went to different parishes for women empowerment programme by forming new cooperative in Nanakantharia and Pahadiya and strengthening the old cooperative of Khiloda. They met the sisters and women and encouraged them to progress through the means of cooperatives and skill enhancement.

From 9^th June to 10^th June 2022 the community educators of Health programme of SSSS came together to Jeevan Vikas Kendra, Pethapur. Sharmilaben helped them with documentations and planning of activities. Mr. Jyoti Xavier and Ms. Archana enlightened them on care for creation and environmental crisis thereafter moved to show some lights on herbal plants which would help them to be healthy.

On 7^th June 2022, SSSS staff and Director visited Mandali & Mehsana parishes to monitor beautician and tailoring courses conducted through the generosity of Missio, Austria. Certificates were distributed to women who completed beautician training in Mehsana. SSSS is grateful to trainers, classroom assistants, Fr. Vela and Sr. Nirmala for their kind cooperation in empowering the women of the parish.

On 8^th June 2022, SSSS staff and Director visited Radhanpur parish to give a training on cooperative accounts. 10 women along with Sr. Sicily were present for the training. This would help them to explain to their fellow women so that the cooperative society can progress well.
