Final evaluation of NICE II
As Nutrition Improvement through Community Empowerment
(NICE) phase II has completed, final evaluation was held on 28th
January 2023. Ms. Phiji Hotta was the resource person for the evaluation. SSSS
Director, Staff along with Ms. Phiji visited Dodisara, Rudhradi, Pahadiya,
Kagda Mahuda villages of Aravalli district and interacted with the women who
benefited by the programme for the last two years. The women expressed that
through the programme there has been much change in their life style such as
using organic manure in their field, making proper kitchen garden and growing
various vegetables for the health of the family and adding nutrition food in
their intake, obtaining government schemes for persons, families and villages
etc.. Overall, the programme helped the women in the rural villages of the
Archdiocese of Gandhinagar. SSSS and Archdiocese of Gandhinagar is grateful to
Manos Unidas for their constant support to the Archdiocese. We are grateful to
Ana, Chiqui who come to evaluate our work at regular interval. SSSS is thankful
to sisters who really cooperate, Community Educators who work at the grass
root, SSSS staff, women who involve themselves, take initiative and progress
for the betterment of the society. May God continue to bless our Archdiocese!
