Our Lady of Lourdes Feast at CRPF Church, Gandhinagar

During the pastoral ministry of Fr. Jebamalai at CRPF, Gandhinagar with the generous help of then DIG Mr. Thomas Job, Marina, Annie madam and other personnels Our Lady of Lourdes grotto was built and every year the feast is celebrated in the campus in honour of Our Lady of Lourdes.  Fr. Salvador Fernandes promoted this feast for the past years. This year the church began the rosary, novena, mass on 2^nd February 2020. It was a great joy to see few people after their duty time coming to the Church and participating in novena mass and providing dinner for everyone. Different priests came to celebrate the holy Eucharist and to preach on different days. Frs. Arul Britto, Antony Cruz, Francis Xavier and deacon Deepak Toppo were among them. On the ninth day of the novena His Grace Archbishop Thomas Macwan came to celebrate the Holy Eucharist and preach. He encouraged them to come and pray at this beautiful grotto. He was happy with the homely atmosphere of the parish community. On the feast day 11^th February 2020, All the parishioners came to celebrate the feast with great rejoicing. Frs. Sushil Toppo, Arul Britto, Victor Pais, Antony Cruz, Xavier James and Deacon Deepak Toppo together with Sr. Maria Macwan and boys from Vianney apostolic home were present to share the joy of CRPF church feast. As it was the world day of the sick, blessing of the sick was held. All priests laid hands on all present and prayed over them. Our dedicated parishioners provided agape to all who participated after the Holy Eucharist. Bravo to all the generous faithful!
