Food grains distribution by SSSS
On 10th August 2022, SSSS staff went to
Bhiloda with food grains to be distributed to the poor and needy of the parish.
Fr. Robert with the help of Parish Council members surveyed the parish and
reached out to needy 116 Catholic families with food grains.
SSSS staff identified the needy, poor, orphan, migrant
families in Gandhinagar district and reached out to them with food grains in
the month of August.
National Youth Sunday in the Archdiocese of
Gandhinagar
National Youth Sunday with the theme of ‘Mary rose up
and went with haste’ was celebrated in the Archdiocese of Gandhinagar. On the
eve of the event, His Grace Archbishop Thomas Macwan, Mrs. Anjanaben Robinbhai
Patel, Mr. Deba Ranjan Hota addressed the youth and encouraged them to keep
faith and have Jesus as the role model for their lives. Sr. Manisha AC brought
lighter moments with games for the youth. Ms. Gauravi Xavier was the Master of
Ceremony for the whole event. 120 Youth from all over the Archdiocese along
with enthusiastic Priests and Sisters participated in the celebration. Special
thanks to SSSS staff for making all the arrangements and Fr. Britto for
providing snacks for all.
