 Isu Anubhav 2023 for the Youth of the Archdiocese

105 youth had gathered at Jeevan Vikas Kendra, Pastoral Centre, Pethapur from 3^rd to 5^th March for Isu Anubhav 2023. Archdiocesan youth commission had invited Charis India team to enlighten and energize the Archdiocesan youth. Mr. Ajin Joseph, Sr. Paulina, Dion, Roger, Sam, Satyaprakash kept the youth informed and active throughout the three days programme. Along with sound, music, singing and dancing the topics covered were very meaningful. Some highlights were God’s extravagant love and human sexuality, Sin its consequence and Repentance, Evil of contraception, abortion, the over population myth, Gender dysphoria and evil of social media, deliverance, forgiveness, Inner and physical healing, examination of conscience, discerning one’s vocation, personal prayer, Importance of Word of God, Family Prayer, Sacraments, Charisms, fruits of the Holy Spirit, Baptism of the Holy Spirit etc... His Grace Archbishop Thomas Macwan celebrated the Holy Eucharist and delivered homilies. The youth with much preparation participated in the Sacrament of Reconciliation. The Eucharistic adoration and praying over were very soothing moments for the youth.

The culmination was the presence and interaction of the Apostolic Nuncio to India, His Excellency Archbishop Leopoldo Girelli. He gave a brief message to the youth and invited the youth to ask questions so that it became interactive session. Some expressed that we are proud to be Catholic youth, some asked how to grow in our faith in multi religious context in India, what is the message he wanted to give to the youth of neo millennium etc… His Excellency patiently listened to all and gave concrete answers, which encouraged the youth even more. It was a very rare moment for the youth to be with Papal Ambassdor

Mr. Rajubhai took care of the food and Mr. Direnbhai took care of the sound and lights. Fr. Arul Britto arranged for the staying and other facilities. Sabarmati Samruddhi Seva Sangh staff personnel were present all three days and took care of every aspect of Isu Anubhav 2023 event. Youth commission is grateful the fathers and sisters who encouraged the youth to participate in this renewal. We thank the salesian sisters, Frs. Sushil, Shaiji, Vally, Royden, Br. Sugesh and Charis Team for their presence and timely assistance. We are grateful to His Grace Archbishop Thomas for giving such an opportunity to the youth of the Archdiocese of Gandhinagar.
