Palanpur Mission in November 2024

 Faith Formation in Palanpur

From 27^th to 30^th October 2024, Adult Faith Formation was organized at Palanpur. Frs. Xavier James, Sonu Walia took classes from morning 9 am to 6 pm with lunch and tea break in between. 17 of them participated in it. At the end of the seminar sacraments were conferred on them so that they are united with the universal Church.

Visiting the homes of boarding children

As the boarding children went home for their Diwali vacation, Frs. Xavier James, Sonu Walia and few boarding staff went to visit the boys and girls in different villages. The parents and children were so happy to welcome them also were surprised. It was an opportunity for fathers to learn about the real situation of children for better understanding.  

 

All Souls day in Palanpur

Palanpur cemetery was cleaned for the all souls day on 2^nd November 2024. Good number of faithful joined for the Holy Eucharist at the cemetery followed by blessing of the tombs. It was a touching moment for the family members. 

Seeds distribution in villages

On 13^th November 2024, Fr. Xavier James along with the animators visited Kanbiyavas, Shiyawada, Panchha the villages near Ambaji temple and distributed vegetable seeds for their kitchen garden.

On 14^th November 2024, Fr. Xavier James along with the animators visited Ajapur, Bhamariya, Pedcholi the villages around Virampur and distributed vegetable seeds for their kitchen garden. The beneficiaries are very grateful to Fr. Deepak Toppo and Manos Unidas for their generosity.

On 20^th November 2024, Fr. Xavier James along with the animators visited Dabavalivav and Jambera villages near Ambaji and distributed vegetable seeds for their kitchen garden. Some villages are very far from the road and climbing up and down the mountains to reach becomes an experience.
