Vianney
Sunday celebration in Siddhpur parish
In honour
of St. John Marie Vianney, patron of all priests, Vianney Sunday was celebrated
at Umru-Siddhpur parish on 7th August 2016. Fr. Xavier James
presided over the solemn Eucharistic celebration and after breaking of the Word
with examples from his own life and the life of St. John Marie Vianney; all
professed their faith in Triune God. There after children and elders participated
in spontaneous prayer of the faithful in which they prayed for all the priests
specially the priests who touched their lives and inspired them, all those who
live and who have died and gone for their reward. It was indeed a moving
experience. After the Eucharist, there was a fellowship shared by all those
