SSSS reaches out to Migrants and widows of Gandhinagar
The staff of Sabarmati Samruddhi Seva Sangh,
Archdiocese of Gandhinagar went about doing good during the Holy Week 2020. All
surveyed the slums of Gandhinagar and found the migrants and widows then
distributed provisions which can survive them for few days. Thus the staff made
the Holy week really holy through feeding the poor and needy. Bravo to SSSS
staff.
Archdiocesan Social Service society reaches out to the
interior villages
On 11th April 2020, SSSS staff set out with
food grains to distribute interior villages of Deesa, Amirgadh, Vadgam,
Palanpur Talukas of Banaskantha district. 225 families of daily wagers and
needy people were helped. Fr. Almeida and Fr. Julian intimated to SSSS for help
and thus many families were helped during this COVID 19 lock down.
SSSS with GMCA reaches out to Migrants in Bhat
On 13th April 2020, SSSS staff together
with Gandhinagar Malayalee Catholic Association reaches out to 33 families of
migrant labourers from Chattisgarh, Jharkhand, West Bengal. We were very sad to
hear that they were hungry for few days and verified that they had nothing.
After surveying distributed food grains for each family. It was a great
experience of God, how God fill the hungry with food. Hats off to SSSS staff
and all the members of GMCA.
