SSSS training for Staff & Animators
SSSS staff and 35 Animators together with Fr. Julian
and Sisters had gathered at Jeevan Vikas Kendra, Pethapur from 15th
to 16th November 2022 for various trainings. On 15th
Tuesday, Mr. Kishore Vasava enlightened everyone with the concept of Gram Sabha
and the proceedings and how women could actively participate in it. In the
evening they were given 10 kinds of vegetable seeds so that they have nutrition
garden around their homes. We are grateful to Manos Unidas for providing the
seeds.
On 16th Wednesday, the animators were given
practical knowledge of obtaining government schemes and some were distributed e
shram card and National Health card. Some of them registered themselves for
Ayushman card. Thereafter Mr. Bharat Joshi of Blind People’s Association,
Ahmedabad came to educate everyone with the clear concept to disability and
working with persons with disabilities. SSSS staff and Fr. Britto made 2 days stay
comfortable. SSSS, Archdiocese of Gandhinagar is grateful to Archdiocese of
Toronto for reaching out to persons with disabilities.
