Archdiocesan Youth Bible Conventions at Mehsana & Kadwath
Youth Commission of the Archdiocese of Gandhinagar had
organized a Youth Bible Convention on 22nd October 2022 at St.
Michael’s Church, Mehsana for Gandhinagar, Mehsana, Palanpur deaneries. 120
Youth participated in it. Fr. Peter Vellara VC and his team from Tabor Retreat
Centre, Bhileshwarpura, Chatral managed the whole day. His Grace Archbishop
Thomas Macwan celebrated the Holy Eucharist and anointed the youth with holy
oil. Youth Commission is grateful to Fr. Hemant, Sisters and faithful of
Mehsana for their arrangements and willingness to help.
Yet another Youth Bible Convention was organized for
the youth of Aravalli and Sabarkantha Districts on 31st October 2022
at Kadwath Shrine. 150 Youth participated in it. Fr. Peter Vellara VC and his
team animated the day of prayer. His Grace Archbishop Thomas Macwan prayed with
the youth for the whole day and celebrated the Holy Eucharist. He also anointed
them with holy oil and all priests prayed over them. Youth Commission is
grateful to Frs. Kingsline and Kanti for their hard work to make the day and
make the youth feel at home. May Our Lady of Guadalupe intercede for our
Archdiocese and for the Youth.
