SSSS Migrant Resource Centre
As a part of
reaching out to migrant daily wagers, SSSS has begun a Migrant Resource Cenre
at Chiloda in Gandhinagar. At Mota Chiloda where the migrant daily wagers
gather to be hired for various kinds of works, SSSS staff reach out to them
early in the morning by making them aware of safe migration, medical aid, legal
documents, government scheme etc... In two months’ time, SSSS staff helped the
migrant workers with 5 e shram card, 11 health card, 15 e nirman card, 18 Ayushman
card and opening of 2 bank accounts. The daily wagers are very grateful to SSSS
staff for obtaining such legal documents free of cost otherwise they would be costlier
for them to procure. Kudos to SSSS Pravasi Bandhu Team!
