 SSSS training and activities

On 4^th November 2023 SSSS Director, staff along with students from Rashtriya Raksha University and Central University of Gujarat visited Aravalli district for several activities. They reached Dodisara village where women had gathered for the training on organic pesticide. Community Educators conducted the training with all the materials. The director encourged the women to prepare such and use it in their field to preserve the land from chemical pesticides.

 

Thereafter they visited Khari village and the women were ready to prepare organic fertilizer. The Community Educators conducted the training so well with needed materials and equipments. Many women participated in it.

After that they went to Pahadiya. Women had gathered for nutrition food competition. 15 women from 12 villages had prepared nutrition and traditional food and brought to all to taste. The staff and the students tasted and gave the winner and runner special prizes and consolation prizes to all who particiapted in it. The director encouraged the women to eat such food in order to be healthy.

 

Then they reached Nanakantharia. Large number of women had gathered there to participate in the nutrition food competition. They had prepared and brought many traditional food items which were tasted by all present and winner and runner were given speical prizes and all the participants were given a prize to encourge their hard work. The Director urged women to prepare such food for their children so that they will become healthy.
