SSSS visit to Banaskantha

SSSS Director, Staff and Internship students from Sarvajanik MSW college, Mehsana visited Deesa on 17^th August 2023. They met the Community Educators of Health - CHANGE II programme and interacted with them and helped them to report better by verifying their documents. Thereafter they went to Bedla village where the Community Educators had gathered women and conducted an awareness programme on health. Then they visited Dabavalivav, where 10 women had prepared nutrition food and brought them together. The staff and students tasted variety of nutrition food. The winners were awarded and prizes were given to all those who participated in it. The Director insisted that these food need to be prepared often and eaten by the whole family so that we can reduce malnutrition. After verifying the documents of the Community Educators they concluded their visit in Banaskantha district. SSSS is grateful to Frs. Julian, Salvador for taking much interest in these interior villages of Deesa, Amirgadh and Danta Blocks (Taluka).
