Archdiocesan Girl Child day celebration 2023
International
Girl Child day is celebrated on the Nativity of our Blessed Mother Mary. On 10th
September 2023, Archdiocese of Gandhinagar celebrated Girl Child day at
Pethapur and 210 children along with 22 fathers and sisters participated in it.
Sr. Nila Bhatia along with the SSSS team planned out the programme and sent it
to different parishes. Fathers and sisters lovingly brought enthusiastic
children who with full gusto participated in their given programme. Dr. Kranti
Trivedi, Principal of Mehsana MSW college encouraged the children and cautioned
about many evils in the society. After the cultural programme, all participated
in the Holy Eucharist. Thereafter all enjoyed the festive lunch and left for
their homes. Women’s desk Sr. Nila is grateful to His Grace Archbishop Thomas
Macwan, Fr. Britto, Fahters, Sisters, Children, Rajubhai and SSSS team
