Ecology Seminar for Gujarat
His Grace Archbishop Thomas Macwan of the Archdiocese of Gandhinagar took initiative to organize a seminar on Ecology and climate change for the whole metropolitan see of Gandhinagar which includes Ahmedabad, Baroda, Rajkot, Shamshabad and Gandhinagar. His Lordship Bishop Allwyn D’silva was the resource person. He is the chairperson of ecology commission at FABC, CBCI, CCBI level. The event took place on 28th September 2023 at Pastoral Centre, Nadiad. 150 priests and sisters participated in it. Bishop Alwyn dealt with Laudato Si Goals, Climate Crisis, 7 Cs and some tips for the way forward. His talk was very insightful and provoked the audience for immediate action so that we can have our planet ‘common home’ safe and secure. The participants were very serious about concrete steps for the present and future. His Grace Archbishop Thomas Macwan is grateful Bishop Allwyn, Bishop Retnaswamy, Fr.
