Vianney Sunday celebration in Palanpur
On
4th August 2024, the feast of St. John Mary Vianney was celebrated as
Vianney Sunday or Pastors' day in Palanpur Parish as a gesture of thanksgiving to
the priests who are serving the parish. Solemn Eucharistic celebration was celebrated
by Frs. Sonu & Xavier James and participated by MC, RJM sisters, Boarding boys
and girls and faithful in large number. After the Eucharist both priests were honoured
by the faithful and the boarding boys. Cake was cut and breakfast was served to
all the faithful. In the evening, games were conducted for the boarding boys and
they had put up a beautiful cultural programme in commemoration of St. John Mary
Vianney. The parishioners were overjoyed with the celebration so also the boarding
boys and girls.
